This Oak Park, Illinois Historic Landmark had a porch that was structurally failing. The expansive clear opening had been propped with a pipe column and the base skirt was severely cracked and falling inward. WDN redesigned the porch and provided a new steel beam with columns to support the roof and restore the clear opening to its original expanse while also correcting the very visible sagging parapet.
